A radome is a protective enclosure designed to safeguard sensitive electronic components, such as antennas and transceivers, from environmental conditions, while allowing radio-frequency signals to pass through.
We propose radome FSS (Frequency Selective Surface) solutions for different frequency bands, including mmWave applications such as the 60 GHz and 79 GHz bands. Our expertise in radome FSS design provides significant advantages over traditional radomes. FSS-based radomes offer enhanced performance with minimal insertion loss and reduced radiation pattern distortion.
Below is an example of radiation patterns of a printed vertical antenna array operating in the 60 GHz band. The comparison is shown between the radiation pattern in free space and the radiation pattern with the presence of a radome FSS.
