Smart Sensum has a team of experts with a strong core knowledge in electromagnetics, antennas, RF, and metamaterials. Our team also includes experts in hardware, software, algorithms, signal processing, AI, bio-medical and mechanics, allowing us to approach our work from a multidisciplinary perspective and deliver innovative solutions that address the specific needs of our customers.
CEO & Founder – Vladimir Vulfin
Vladimir has extensive experience in RF and antennas, with over 18 years of research and engineering background.
Since 2015, Vladimir has been serving as the founder and CEO of Electromagnetics Infinity. The company provides research, development, simulations and engineering services to companies in various areas, including RF, antennas, microwave devices, biomedical electromagnetic solutions, signal and power integrity analysis, board design, mmWave radars, RCS analysis, signal processing and development of full smart RF/antenna-based systems. As a Certified Channel Partner of Ansys Inc., the global leader in engineering simulation software, Electromagnetics Infinity also offers technical support, sales and consulting services for electronics simulation tools to high-tech companies.
Before working at Electromagnetics Infinity, Vladimir served as an Electromagnetic Engineer at Ansys Inc. for 2 years. In this role, he represented Ansys Electronics products in Israel and was actively involved in business development and marketing activities. Additionally, he spent 7 years as a Microwave & Antenna Engineer at a state-owned company in the R&D team. Furthermore, Vladimir has been active as an external lecturer in various universities and colleges in Israel. He has supervised more than 120 final degree projects for students in Electrical Engineering Departments.
Vladimir holds an M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Electromagnetics, from Ben Gurion University. He conducted research on antennas, scattering, and metamaterials under the supervision of Prof. Reuven Shavit. Additionally, he has completed partial Ph.D. studies in the same field, also at Ben Gurion University and under Prof. Shavit’s supervision.
Vladimir has authored and co-authored over 50 publications in various international journals and international conferences.
